ALEXANDRIA, La. – Affiliate Govt Director and Main Financial Officer of the Louisiana Baptist Convention Dale Lingenfelter declared Friday (April 5) that he designs to nominate Don Currence for the place of work of Southern Baptist Conference registration secretary.

The congregation contributed $1,634,485 total undesignated receipts, with $100,541 (6.15%) provided through the Cooperative System. Associates also gave $42,106 to the 2023 Lottie Moon Christmas Giving and $19,474 to the 2023 Annie Armstrong Easter Supplying.
Currence has served as a New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) trustee and in a lot of management roles with condition conventions and nearby associations in Missouri and Louisiana.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and a master’s from NOBTS.
He and his wife, Cheta, have two adult daughters, Hannah and Leah.
